Welcome to Roger Old Auto Repairs
I'm a local man and started working as a mechanic back when I was 17 years old as an apprentice with a garage in Wadebridge. From there I qualified as a mechanic achieving City and Guilds qualifications from college. Soon after that I gained employment in a Nissan dealership working my way up until becoming a workshop foreman after receiving full dealer training in Watford at the Nissan College.
Over the years I have worked for several different dealers which included Ford, Mitsubishi, Suzuki and last but not least Seat. I first worked with Seat with Bryan brothers in Wadebridge and then soon after that for West End Motors in Bodmin. I worked for West End for 6 years and achieved a Master Technician qualification, which is nationally recognised throughout all vehicle manufacturers. Then in April 2007, after much deliberation, I decided to start my own business so I could offer top quality repairs at much affordable prices. From there I have slowly invested in more equipment and tools and even a diagnostic scanner so I can carry out diagnostics on engine, abs, and airbag systems on many different franchised vehicles.
In 2009 I employed Darren Allum full time after a part time trial. Darren is a very hard working and has proved to be a valuable addition to Roger Old Auto Repairs. We offer all makes vehicle servicing, welding, exhausts, brakes, timing belts, electrical fault finding and much, much more.
